Open discussion by and with Eike Roswag-Klinge, Dr. med. Walter Hugentobler
and Andrea Klinge.

The increasing technology and the use of construction materials, which release harmful substances, as well as to damp or to dry rooms cause unforeseen helath issues for building occupants.

An alternative to the us of mechanical ventilation are healthy natural building materials such as clay, wood and natural fibers. Their use in the construction and refurbishment of buildings makes it possible to reduce or dispense with the use of ventilation technology while maintaining the highest energy standards.

Eike Roswag-Klinge, architect and co-founder of the office Ziegert | Roswag | Seiler Architekten Ingenieure implements healthy living and working buildings of natural building materials with the aim of operating these climatically.

Andrea Klinge, architect at Ziegert Roswag Seiler Architekten Ingenieure conducts research in the context of the H-House research project in a healthy indoor climate in times of increased energy requirements.

Dr. Walter Hugentobler, University of Zurich, is a general practitioner and warns of the health damage caused by too dry and too humid interior air.
